School. blah. Shockingly, I did not fail my History test. what a joke. I got a C, I didnt deserve that.
Just wasted time untill I had to go to work.
I had a pretty good time at work. I'm glad I picked this shift up from Travis.
At the Podium with Wade, and he askes this guy how he's doin today. The guy starts going off all about his corvette. haha. Telling us this whole story about it. "oh, I'm doing good. I just got a new engine for my Corvette. It's a shortblock, produces 500hp.... It cost $4,000.... Took 4 weeks to build... The car is completely finished now. I had everything done to it all ready, except for the block. nascar breaks. all powder coated underneath. and now its finished.... I was going 160 up the Pali. So, yeah, that thing can run, like a royce... I just saw this docter a couple weeks ago. He said he was looking for me for months. He needed his pool retiled.... I told him I'll do it for $10,000. Thats just the labor, the supplies cost like 40 bucks. I told him I'll take a down payment of $5,000. So my engine is completely paid for. Life is good..." haha. the guy was talking for like almost 5 mins. but the best part was when he said, "you wanna see a picture of it?" He then proceeds to take out his wallet, opens it and the picture is right there in the front, a blue 93 corvette. Looks like the picture would be covering a picture of his grandkids. wow, that guy sure does love his car. and shanp! I gotta learn me how to tile. The guy makes just about what I'm making in a year, on one contract, and how long does it take him to do the job, like a day or two? shnap.
ahhh, At the end of the night it was soo cruise. We were just standing around, eating the hotdog buns, pretzels and nacho chips, with cheese. and of course I had me a few strawberry Icees too.
