  • Left 4 Dead

     my new addiction. that game is awesome. It's got me playing videogames like how I used to back in the later half of high school, and before I got a J.O.B..... aka playing at any chance I get.
    I also think it has a lot to do with the T.V. i got in december. It's a 40-inch 1080p Sony LCD. and then I also finally got around to wall mounting my surround sound speakers. So now playing games is flippin awesome, as compared to my old set up.

    It's even cut off my addiction to the computer. I come home and the first thing I turn on the Xbox now. Today I didnt even turn the computer on untill I was finished playing. Doesn't sound like much, but this is like a first in...I can't even remember...

    I just got Fable II also. FO-FREE! hehe. I heart that game. It reminds me of old school zelda on the N64.

     

    Aside from that, I think I may actually pass English 100 for like thee first time ever. after like 4 years and 5 other classes. But school is super boring. I hate it. I wake up every Tues + Thurs, telling my self that even though I don't want to go to class, I have to because of the attendance points.

     

    Cleaned my room yesterday yesterday (saturday, 3/7).
    and then, I finally started to get back into my regualr diet & excercise routine. hopefully I'll keep it up this time. cause I've gotten wayyy wayyy too fat. I miss my youth, aka being 19yrs old, and more importantly 170lbs. ahh. the summer of '05 seems so far away, such a distant memory. But I think I can get back down to it, just as long as I stick to it.

    Last Last week, the woman unshackled me from the ball and chain long enough to go hang out with my friends for once. I decided to take them out to dinner. Melissa, D.K. and Will (Aaron ditched. luser. homework, puhleease!). I took them to Buca di Beppo. it's a nice family style resturaunt. D.K. never went there before so he didn't know what was going on when He and Melissa were going to order the same thing, he was like, "That's 2 orders of that right." haha. we had to explain to him how it works with them brining one big thing with the food on it, and you just take how much you want off it. took him a while to understand it. lol.

    hmm.. what else... I got a new phone last month. the Ocean 2. the freggin thing that I've been waiting for ever since I signed up with helio. and now it's finally here, though, a year late. It's awesome cause it has a keyboard. and now texting is my friend, instead of my nemisis. haha.

    i can't wait for resident evil 5 to come out too. i have it preordered and everything. so excited, i could peeeee. i have a shitty-ass mall though so i don't think they're going to have a midnight launch ;_; oh well.

    i want fable II also, but after buying re5, my money supply is going to be exhausted.

  • @tofu_scramble - I think theres only one gamestop on the island over here that's going to do a midnight opening of Resident Evil 5.
    have you played the demo for it? personally, I didn't like it. I just couldn't get over how you have to stand still to shoot or even use the knife. People say that's classic Resident Evil gameplay, but I say, that was fine back in the PSone days when you only had a single D-pad to work with. Now days we have dual analog sticks, they need to get with the times.

  • @Cameronie - yeah i played the demo, but like you said, the controls seem so awkward. i totally get you. maybe it's because i'm used to re4 on ps2 but i dunno. a big pet peeve of mine is when your characters walk slow. for me to be content, my characters must run because my attention span is ridiculously short. i'm still looking forward anyway because i love the series and i have to keep up with it.

    my gamertag's on my profile page, i think. i'll add you. my gold ran out but i'm probably getting some this week/weekend. lol. i feel so lost and confused because i've been playing on my brother's account. it's funny because when i sign on, my friends insist on asking me ~safe questions~ that only i know because my brother is prepubescent and we sound the same, only he likes to harass them. haha.
