Why should homeschooling be illegal? why is this even a question? I wasn’t aware that there was some (if any at all) controversy over it.
though…. usually kids that are home schooled are kind of strange…. not always…. but it’s not surprising when that is true….
but I don’t think that’s any reason for someone to say it should be illegal.

HAHAHAHA!!!!! HAHAH!! Good One, G. you almost make the question sound believable. It’s very very hard to save my money…. especially when you gotta buy hottie’s birthday presents and stuff. I spent soo much today, ordering a birthday present off of amazon this morning. then thanks to craigslist I bought something for myself….
and even yesterday, I bought a couple of Chicago concert tickets for like $150… and I also had to buy new shoes for work too…. oh and don’t forget to fill up the gas tank… a cool $50 right thurr.

so yeah… I think I’ve pretty much met my quota for the month in these past couple days….

Got a new computer yoh.
well, I’ve had it for a few weeks now but I only got it all set up now….
I got it a couple days before compUSA closed, it was $900 and a pretty sweet deal for what I got.
The coolest thing would probably be the HD / BLU-Ray Player, dvd drive on it! so now i can watch Swordfish…. though… no HD-TV yet… so It’s pretty useless right now. But hopefully, before the end of this year, I’ll have one.
It’s also got a Quad Core processor. Chee hoo. hehe. 600gb Hard Drive (two 300gb’s) that I raid-0′d together myself…  3 gigs or RAM, and it also has a TV tuner.
Though the thing I’m really excited about is that I now have Windows VISTA. zohmygosh. haha. yeah, I know the general consensus states that Vista blows like the wind and that XP is where the party is at. But to me, I <3 it. for the first time I’m ahead of the curve on the new O.S. adoption. While everyone was on windows XP and you pretty much couldn’t get a new version of any progam without having windows XP I was still stuck on stupid ol’ Windows ME. I only got XP a little over a year ago, with my last computer. A few months before windows VISTA first came out….. I know it’s sad, I pretty much skiped a whole O.S. that’s how late I was on getting a XP system…. my XP computer even had one of those VISTA upgrade compatible stickers on it!

well…. I don’t have any time to give any more of an update of what’s been going round lately. right round…
gotta get up early in the morning for work…

*EDIT: gosh. I can’t believe I forgot to mention the graphics card…. you can just tell how out of the loop i’ve been  when it comes to computer games over the last few years…. cause my last few computers didn’t even have graphics cards in them. Which is one of the big reasons why I would never play computer games.
well anyways, this computer has a 512mb nvidia 8500 GT. It’s an may be an “entree level” card. but It still gets the job done. I just got done playing CS: Source in all high settings and the highest resolution and I was getting 86 fps.

Why didn’t I think of that?

well, I guess their’s not really much to update on….. school and then work has been taking up most of my time the rest of these days. except saturday….. that wasn’t so bad… got to hang out with a couple of hotties. hehe.

oooh, and today. I saw CBR Guy! oooh shnap. and then after that I went on break and I saw Hott Wheels. haha. yeah…. as usual she was with her mom. but it was like soo perfect too. If I went on break any sooner or later than I did, I soo would have missed her. and wouldn’t have gotten that big smile and wave from her. gosh. If only I could see her without her mom again, and then I could get another chance to talk to her, and then I’d be soo in… ooh yeaaa…. in like Flynn……

not really… anybody with half a brain can see a phishing scam a mile away. and pretty much all browsers these days does all the work for you and alerts you of them before even get a chance to see it for yourself.

and remember….. when you go onto “18+” websites that ask for your cedit card…. it’s all about PayPal…. yes, PayPal is your friend.
It also works great for those late night webcam/ video chats.

My Dad………  role model / mentor…. same thing…. but I guess on the “mentor” side of things it’d have more to do with him teaching me things. Well, I’d really want to learn how to speak in front of people. large groups. small groups. anything. He will talk to anyone. It’s like where ever we go, he knows someone and/or is meeting some new random person that he just started talking to out of the blue….
Even in front of hundreds or even thousands of people, it’s's’all G. He used to go and do these “motivational speeches” and stuff at schools all over the state for so many years. He even M.C.’d quite a few D.A.R.E. Day events. There Is absolutely No way what so ever that I would ever have the courage to do something like that. But I wish I could….. and that’s just a few things he does…. he’s done all that and soo much more to help be a part of and give back to the community.

In my lifetime, if I could even learn half the things he does, half as good as he does it, and could touch the lives of even just a small fraction of the amount of people he has…… would be amazing.

Yeah, I was hoping to go cruize with Doran and whoevers tonight, after he gets off of work at 10…. but that’s not going to happen anymore…. thanks to the previously mentioned….
don’t know what we were going to do but, it would have been a lot better than sitting at home doing homework. we would probably end up going to zippys if we couldn’t figure anything out. or maybe we would have ended up in town at Hawaiian Brian’s or Waikiki, to play some games, pool, and/or meet some new hotties! hehe. yes, that last one, sounds like a plan.

P.S. that last last entree about my favorite movie, The Sandlot, has gotten the most comments I have ever gotten on xanga. That proves right there how awesome the movie is…. and comments make me feel special. haha.
